Ingredients
  

  • Ice cubes
  • 2 oz 1800 coconut tequila
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • ¾ oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 lime wedge for garnish
  • Sea salt for rim optional
  • Optional: shredded coconut for coconut rim

  • Margarita glass or rocks glass
  • Citrus juicer
  • Jigger or measuring cup
  • Small plate for salt rim

Method
 

  1. First prepare the margarita glass. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass, then dip the rim into a plate of sea salt or shredded coconut to create a flavorful rim.
  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Pour in the 1800 coconut tequila, pineapple juice, and freshly squeezed lime juice.
  3. Close the shaker tightly and shake well for about 15–20 seconds until the mixture becomes very cold and well combined.
  4. Add fresh ice to the prepared margarita glass if you want the drink served on the rocks.
  5. Strain the cocktail from the shaker into the glass. Garnish with a lime wedge or a small pineapple slice.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy this refreshing tropical coconut margarita.

Notes

For a frozen coconut margarita, blend the ingredients with one cup of ice in a blender instead of shaking.
If you prefer a sweeter drink, add ½ oz agave syrup or simple syrup before shaking.
To create a creamy version, add ½ oz coconut cream or coconut milk before shaking.
You can also replace pineapple juice with mango juice or orange juice for a different tropical flavor.
